The Jeep Cherokee features hallmark Jeep characteristics like incredible off-road capability and, on the style front, the signature Jeep 7-slat grille. Many stylistic elements of this Jeep SUV a different, though, like the rest of the front fascia, which features two to three tiers of lights instead of the signature Jeep round headlamps. Up top, daytime running lamps are shaped in stylish strips, with the main headlights underneath them. Rounding things off in certain trim models are fog lights.

Inside, the Cherokee features a high-end cabin with soft-touch materials, ample technology like an array of available Uconnect infotainment systems, and plenty of cargo space.

Cherokee Trim Information

You have five trim choices when you choose the 2018 Jeep Cherokee. The entry-level Latitude starts at just over $24,000 and offers silver roof rails, painted aluminum alloy wheels, a standard ParkView® rear backup camera, and more. For about $2,000 more, the Latitude Plus model equips the Cherokee with leather-trimmed seats with cloth inserts, push button start, and a Uconnect 3c system with j8.4-inch touchscreen. Limited models get heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, leather-trimmed seating surfaces, and increased driver assistance technology such as blind spot monitoring and rear cross path detection.

Although all new Cherokee models are quite competent off-road, the Trailhawk® model is the best-equipped new Cherokee to choose if you plan to do any serious off-roading. It's Trail-Rated® Capability is achieved through the inclusion of Jeep® Active Drive Lock 4x4 system with a locking rear differential and Selec-Terrain® system to choose between different road terrain conditions. The Trailhawk also comes with Firestone tires, tow-hooks, and an aggressive, rugged exterior.

Last but most certainly not least, the roughly $34,000 Cherokee Overland is the top-of-line Cherokee model insofar as comfort and convenience are concerned. This new Cherokee model features 18-inch fully polished alloy wheels, body-color cladding and fascias, and a premium leather-trimmed interior, among other premium features and amenities.
